June 11-14 | North Adams, Mass. - The anticipation for the upcoming Equity and Inclusion Conference at MCLA June 11-13 is building. I have been honored to help Lisa Donavan (MCLA) curate June 12th when Nikki Giovanni visits us with a panel I have curated and will be moderating with Dr. Emily Williams (MCLA), Josie Greene (Crane Foundation), John Bissell (Greylock Federal Credit Union), and Pam Tatge (Jacobs Pillow Festival Of Dance). Directly following, several of our premiere Berkshire County arts organizations share their equity and inclusion goals and journey. Then the entire second half of the day these arts organizations, MCLA arts staff, BRIDGE Race Task Force, and TRJ members and the PISAB Undoing Racism leaders will all convene for an anti-oppression in the arts session. September 16-17 | Austin - As the Equity and Inclusion Team Lead at Changemaker Strategies, I am working on the upcoming event “Women and Money: Making Money Moves that Matter.” This will be a diverse gathering of for-profit, nonprofit, entrepreneurial, “early adapter” gender lens investors, and academic leaders who want to move money to women and girls… faster.
