Imagine Philanthropy

Changemaker Strategies consults with philanthropists, family foundations, and NGOs, as well entrepreneurial organizations that focus on leveraging resources for the greater good. Tuti B. Scott, Gwendolyn VanSant, and colleagues coach leaders and teams through strategic planning, culture change, organizational development, succession planning, and growth. We offer workshops and counsel on value-based giving, building empowered teams and leaders, campaign readiness, and more.

As Changemaker Strategies’ Equity & Inclusion Team Lead, I lead initiatives within a positive psychology and systems thinking framework. I also coach leaders and founders on cultural competency. Read an interview with Tuti Scott and me on the work we are doing together to create the Embodied & Beloved Community in Massachusetts and beyond.

Berkshire County Commission on the Status of Women

The commission shares the mission and vision of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women(MCSW). We work to cultivate and promote access to education, health, wellness, economic independence, and safety from violence for all Berkshire County women and girls. We address the feminization of poverty and work to reduce violence against women. We create action networks and activist circles with local women as well as professional women's groups, reach out to women and girls to address issues that affect women, and co-create educational policy for youth. We are mindful regarding reported domestic violence statistics, date rape statistics, porn culture, teen pregnancy, racial disparities, health literacy, and drug use/abuse in our county. By providing youth with lessons on self-esteem, happiness, consent, values, engagement, civics, cultural literacy, and resilience, we help create healthy women and healthy communities.
